kaolin fire presents :: art :: Oil on Canvas

I had a very special night with a friend, back in 1997 or 1996. There was a flag, apparently a sunflower, involved. It was dark out and we coudln't quite make out what it really was at the time, and we figured it looked like an enourmous caterpillar chewing at the pole (the way it was waving about in the wind, and some really strange lighting). I did an acrylic piece of it in my sketchbook (not the best of ideas), and then years later I attempted a larger version. This really doesn't look at all like it, but... I like how it turned out regardless. This was painted over a bunch of lego bricks, which were painted over something else, I think, but I don't remember what at this point.
