This magically created itself. I didn't have anything in mind when I squeezed out the various colors directly onto the canvas, I was just looking for an idea. The background was done entirely with palette knife, so there's a lot of richness in the strokes there. Then I decided the bottom right was a bit too dark, so I added in the "clock face", just dabbing on the circle and quickly dashing out the lines. Who's to argue with perfection? I just wish I could do that more often, but this is by far one of my favorite pieces (when I don't get too hung up on how little "artistic effort" it took).
