Behind this masterpiece lies a sunrise that will never be seen again (I don't think I even managed to save any pictures of it). The sunrise was part of a pair (the other one winding up slightly less demolished at my parents' house) done as an assignment. This one was turned upside down, sky for water, and just somewhat divvied up to make way for something else. I originally planned a silhouette of an oak tree or somesuch to cohere the three elements, but the weird wispy cloud/circles happened instead. I rather like it, especially the play in texture in the two green areas.
