hopelessly lost
mind wanders
fingers start
memory tries to grasp hold somehow portray or
project on current reality your presence

silence
still that yearning
growing ever stronger
nothing debaucherous
nothing ludicrous
nothing but a burning bonfire of desire for
a chance of your presenece

one sits back and tries to contemplate
feelings earlier hinted at but never so fully realized
as now
when you are gone

mindless poetic cliches
how apt.
